Chiropractic care is a safe and effective approach to healing and restoring the function of the body. Your chiropractor will use their hands to find misalignments within the spinal column. These misalignments are often times what causes the pain and dysfunction that you might present with. The doctor will then correct that misalignment with a gentle thrust. Dr. Julie and Dr. Bret also sometimes use instruments to make the same correction. Chiropractic care is for patients of all ages especially those developing and trying to reach milestones like infants.

If you have headaches, low back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, wrist pain, sports injuries, numbness or tingling in your arms or legs, sciatica, TMJ or jaw dysfunction, migraines, bowel dysfunction you might benefit from chiropractic care. This includes pre-natal and post-natal care as well as pediatric and adolescent care.

Websters pelvic balancing technique: Websters technique is well known in the chiropractic community as one of the best techniques for pregnant women (but can be used on patients of all ages and genders). Websters concentrates on the positioning of the sacrum (or tailbone) and the ligaments that attach to the uterine cavity. It is often found that rotation in the sacrum produces tension within the uterus that can be relieved with chiropractic care. For more information please visit www.icpa4kids.com/about/webster

Activator instrument adjusting technique: Activator technique is a low force adjusting technique that use a spring-loaded instrument to produce a specific thrust. Acupuncture

Recent research has suggested that common ailments like back pain, neck pain and headaches can be relieved with acupuncture. Acupuncture is known as a practice traditional seen in Chinese medicine with the use of thin needles used in specific locations to help treat the individual. Acupuncture sessions are approximately 60 minutes long.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is active mobilization of the soft tissues that help us maintain posture and move. By addressing the soft tissues (muscles, ligaments, tendons, ect.) we ensure that we have addressed the foundation (the spine) and the supporting structures (the soft tissues). Therapy is intended to be both relaxing and rehabilitative.
